For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
—Ephesians 6:12
EW Jackson, a black conservative and the Virginia GOP’s 2013 nominee for Lieutenant Governor, is under siege from the demonic hellhounds of the left.
An unabashed Christian and a fiery orator, Jackson took the state GOP Convention by storm, Saturday, with a speech so powerful that it instantly converted hundreds, if not thousands of undecided and pre-decided convention attendees.
Defying all odds and embarrassing most pundits, EW Jackson won—handily, decisively, and in spite of opponents’ desperate and dirty campaign trickery.
Immediately upon victory, though, Jackson became the target of vicious Progressive disdain.
Democrat Senator Ralph Northam, himself a 2013 candidate for Lieutenant Governor, characterized the pro-life Jackson as having an “extreme social agenda” and damned him for being a threat to “women’s health.”
Yet, Northam—an MD who practices pediatric neurology at Norfolk’s Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters—is a reliable vote for the pro-death, Planned Parenthood lobby and repeatedly uses the Orwellian “women’s reproductive rights” as a euphemism for infanticide.
Northam was not alone.
In an attempted hit piece on the GOP nominee, The Huffington Post portrays as outrageous Jackson’s comparison and contrast of the KKK to Planned Parenthood:
“The Democrat Party has created an unholy alliance between certain so-called civil rights leaders and Planned Parenthood, which has killed unborn black babies by the tens of millions. Planned Parenthood has been far more lethal to black lives than the KKK ever was. And the Democrat Party and the black civil rights allies are partners in this genocide.”
But Jackson is correct. Planned Parenthood, an organization lauded by Democrats from Barack Obama on down, was born of racial evil, and today continues its hideous, decades-long mission of eradication.
Who is extreme, Dr. Northam?
Who is outrageous, Huffington Post?
- The party that in 2012 shamefully kicked God from their platform because they could no longer reconcile their extreme secularism with His Truth.
- The party that embraces the wholesale slaughter of unborn children (future men and women) under the deceptive banner of “women’s health.”
- The party that enslaves people to the government plantation in the name of compassion, robbing them of dignity and freedom, all in the name of political power.
That is, the Democrat Party.
So let it begin. The left’s spiritual battle against EW Jackson was a fait accompli and will intensify in ferocity as November draws near. Democrats have exchanged the Truth for a lie in their hellish pursuit of Mr. Jackson—because what (and especially Who) he represents, threatens their very being.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
—Isaiah 5:20
Democrats viciously attacking Bishop E W Jackson? Here's the reason…
Great article! They are attacking E.W. Jackson so hard because they are petrified of him. His inspiring and patriotic message may lead black folks off the Democratic plantation to liberty. Batten down the hatches: they've just begun.
E.W. Jackson is a wonderful man and God has really blessed Va. with him as our candidate! Go E.W. Go! Hoping for a LANDSLIDE victory :)
E.W. Jackson is wonderful. The liberals are terrified of him and his appeal. Hoping for a LANDSLIDE VICTORY.
Great post Rob, correct on every front. The grassroots are the winners from this year’s convention. If anyone can bring morality and Christianity back to America it is E.W. Jackson, an unrepentant American with the Founder’s belief’s wrapped in his heart. May God bless him with strength and wisdom as he embarks on the campaign for LG.
I have been told to take down my EW signs from my yard. Like hell I am. I will fight for this man. I am not afraid of the jackass who think they know better than me. For men and women like EW who do represent the values of Kingdom of God. I don’t give a dump on what the RINO and DINO think.. We need to stand up and fight….I wouldnot be suprised if city council tried coming up with a new rule again EW signs.Yes I am pissed!
Gotta love the timing of this press release from the Northam campaign:
And he saith unto his disciples, “If a man says take down your sign, say ye unto him, ‘like hell I will.'” You guys seem to think “the values of the kingdom of God” are low taxes and small government and property rights. How about love for your enemies? Did Jesus go around fighting mad all the time, calling people “jackasses” and “demonic hellhounds”? Jesus got mad, but he also said “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Don’t you ever wonder why no one takes your own Christianity seriously?
Northram didn’t “damn” Jackson. That’s a lie. I find no record that he used that word or any word like it. Planned Parenthood has had nothing to do with the bygone eugenics movement for many decades now. Abortion is an evil, but tell the truth. A ludicrously unfair and inaccurate and uncharitable comparison is an un-Christian comparison. Christians love their enemies, which means trying to be fair to them even when their actions do merit condemnation. Why is it OK for you guys to grossly distort the words and motives of your political enemies? Why is it OK for you to call pro-choice advocates “pro-death,” which doesn’t describe their real intentions, but it’s not OK for them to call you “anti-choice,” which doesn’t describe yours? Why the double standard? Why is it so hard to just acknowledge that even though people’s actions are bad, their intentions may be good, that while abortion is wrong, the desire to help a rape victim is good, and that adoption isn’t an easy fix, and that abortion advocates don’t want to kill fetuses, they really want to help mothers in trouble? You whine about “vicious disdain” and then call your enemies “demonic hellhounds.” Why the double standard?
Do you realize that your self-pity, which it’s obvious you enjoy every minute of, is comical? The kindest thing to be said about it is that it’s a form of temporary insanity, because if it’s not insanity, it’s just plain hypocrisy and worse. Ever wonder why liberals hate you (when they’re not laughing at you)? It’s because you hate them.
What would Jesus really do?
The question asked “What would Jesus really do?” Don’t know. I have learned in my 85 yrs of life, I can only speak for myself. Only Jesus Christ or his Father can answer that question. Yes abortion is evil but question is “What is Planned Parenthood primary role in health care market? Preventive care, community outreach or abortion! It seem abortion just based on my limit ablility to read all the information that they put out. I don’t care if they call me “anti-choice,’ I have been called worse standing outside the pole. Yes there seem to be a double standard but everyone in the pool is good at using them again everyone else. Yes there seem to be allot of self-pity going around of late. But what would Jesus relly do? I really don’t know, I can guess but than I would be putting words in his mouth. E.W. Jackson is a good man, who believe in us the people, not in government should do everything. When I put up a sign in my yard, yes my yard, no one else yard. Than I have legal right to expect no one to come in my yard and mess with sign or anything else in my yard. But one day, I will catch the individual(s) who feel they have right to come into my yard and remove the sign. Aboration has alway been and will alway be evil and it is not a true politicly issue, it is a moral issue.
E. W. Jackson may well be the greatest Virginian since Patrick Henry.
Yes there seem to be allot of self-pity going around of late.
If you want a thoughtful Christian conservative point of view as opposed to a self-righteous, self-congratulatory, reductionist one, read Rod Dreher and his blogging colleagues at the American Conservative. Those guys are highly critical of big government, the liberal media, same sex marriage, abortion . . . a lot of Tea Party targets.
