The mystery man who led assembled patrons in prayerful song at Charlottesville’s Woodbrook Chick-fil-A (CFA) has been indentified.
Michael S., featured anonymously in a 35-second YouTube clip recorded on Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day—and the subject of a Schilling Show all-points bulletin—contacted The Schilling Show recently to identify himself.
The talented vocalist grew up singing table-side at his father’s Italian restaurant and thus is no stranger to public performance. He professes a love for public prayer, as well, and was grateful for the opportunity to sing Irving Berlin’s God Bless America with like-minded CFA customers.
While Michael sought no reward or recognition for his efforts, a local innkeeper had offered a free stay to the singer and his family, if identified. The Schilling Show has connected the two parties.
