Halsey Minor, owner of Charlottesville’s long-stalled Landmark Hotel project, has announced a new developer/associate in the venture.
Minor has partnered with Tim Dixon, the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association’s (BBLA) 2011 Hotelier of the Year. Dixon, highly regarded as a creative hotel visionary, is perhaps best known for his award winning Milwaukee property, The Iron Horse Hotel, which recently garnered BBLA’s Boutique Hotel of the Year award.
Although still mired in legal morass with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Minor expects Landmark to emerge from bankruptcy within four months and for construction to resume shortly thereafter.
