The Stonefield Trader Joe’s in Charlottesville, Virginia was targeted by anti-Israel protestors shortly after 5:00 PM ET this evening.
According to an eyewitness report shared with The Schilling Show, shoppers inside the store were startled by a loud, screeching alarm, which immediately was followed by the forceful projection of quarter-sheet paper flyers reading, “While You Are Shopping, Bombs Are Dropping.” The on-scene witness described the handbills as “raining down” from the ceiling.
Store employees seemed unphased by the disturbance, as they calmly cleaned-up the aftermath—as if this were not the first such attack on that location. Nor did Trader Joe’s management attempt to calm customers via public address, as confused and frightened shoppers were left to comprehend the onslaught themselves.
Prior to the assault, a small group of 10-12 twenty-somethings—all wearing black, N95-style face masks—were seen congregating adjacent to the Trader Joe’s parking lot. At least two individuals matching this description were seen inside the store concurrent to the commotion.
This incident mirrors tactics used across the United States and internationally by leftist, antisemitic terror-inciters.
UPDATE #1: 11/27/2024 9:15 PM: A corroborating second witness clarifies that the above referenced alarms were personal security alarms, multiple of which were triggered and then thrown to inaccessible areas of the store.
