The days of unbiased “news” presentation have long passed when it comes to national media, but the pro-Democrat propagandizing has spread to and overwhelmed local “news” sources, as well.
Charlottesville’s formerly “daily” Daily Progress openly and proudly supports Democrats at the expense of truth and basic fairness, and now, local television station, CBS19, has joined the ranks of polemicist media.
To wit: In a September 25 story on Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s visit to Charlottesville, multiple CBS19 News “reporters” stated that Emhoff contrasted Kamala Harris’s “vision for the future” with “Donald Trump and VP pick JD Vance’s Project 2025.”
In attributing Project 2025 to Trump and Vance, CBS19 News repeats an oft-told leftist lie—one that has been clearly and frequently debunked by President Trump, himself.
In fact, Project 2025 is an effort of the Heritage Foundation, and is not a plan from the Trump Campaign.
According to the liberal newspaper, USA Today, which “fact-checked” the Democrat-aligned media effort tying Trump to Project 2025, the Democrats’ claim is FALSE:

Project 2025 is a political playbook created by the Heritage Foundation and dozens of other conservative groups, not Trump, who said he disagrees with elements of the effort. There are, however, numerous people involved in Project 2025 who worked in Trump’s first administration.
CBS19 knows this is fact, and yet willingly repeats the lie told by Harris and her media sycophants, creating an illusion of truth in attempt to harm the Trump/Vance ticket.
While Project 2025 is a laudable effort and contains many excellent policy proposals in its 900+ pages, it is NOT a product of Trump’s campaign for president—as he has repeatedly stated.
