Breaking: Vice President Pence coming to Monticello?

Mike Pence, 48^th and current Vice President of the United States, reportedly is coming to Charlottesville on July 4, 2019.

Pence is scheduled to participate in Monticello’s 57^th annual Independence Day Celebration and Naturalization Ceremony, pending the resolution of logistics.

UPDATE: 6/19/2019 Vice President Pence’s advance team has cancelled their visit to Charlottesville indicating that the VP will not be visiting Monticello on July 4.
