In an April 9, 2009 appearance on The Schilling Show to discuss his recent book, The Obama Revolution, regional field director for the Obama campaign and Democratic Party of Virginia minion, Alan Kennedy-Shaffer, stepped into a deep abyss.
The self-proclaimed “Christian” and “Presbyterian” was asked about God’s position on abortion. To the astonishment of the host and likely the vast majority of the listening audience, Kennedy-Shaffer made the following statement:”I think that God is neither pro-choice nor pro-life” (audio link below).
Perhaps this “Democratic”brand of Christianity is part of what Paul warned about in 2 Timothy 4:3-5
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Or, maybe Mr. Kennedy-Shaffer has never read Psalm 139:
13 For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
So, if you are a Christian who believes that the Bible is the inspired Word (as it clearly states within), how can you possibly believe that the God who made you is NOT pro-life?
For any thinking being, that position simply “does not compute.”
Listen to Alan Kennedy-Shaffer’s shocking revelation:
Must be PCUSA. They don’t believe the Bible anyway, so no big surprise there. All you need to know about that denomination can be found by googling “1924 Auburn Affirmation PCUSA”. It’s gotten no better in 2009.
